Typing & Sound
The Yog-Sothoth PBT Keycap Set combines a durable PBT surface with a familiar Cherry profile for comfortable everyday typing. Additionally, PBT generally resists developing shine better than some other common keycap materials, helping maintain its appearance over time. Although keycaps can influence your keyboard’s overall sound, the final acoustic profile depends on your switches, keyboard case, plate, and overall build. Therefore, you can pair this set with your preferred switches to create a typing experience that matches your personal style.
Setup & Pairing
Refreshing your keyboard with the Yog-Sothoth PBT Keycap Set is straightforward. First, carefully remove your existing keycaps using a suitable keycap puller. Next, check that your keyboard uses compatible MX-style switches and that the included key sizes match your layout. With 150+ keys included, the set is designed to support a range of layouts, although compatibility depends on your keyboard’s specific configuration. To complete the cosmic horror aesthetic, pair these keycaps with a black or dark gray keyboard case. Furthermore, atmospheric RGB lighting, a dark-themed desk mat, and a custom coiled cable can help highlight the mystical artwork and create a cohesive setup.
